Philadelphia Mummers annual fundraiser

It is that time of year again. My husband is a mummer, mummering is about both family and tradition. Every year Philadelphia celebrates New Years Day with the "Philadelphia Mummers Parade." My husband's family has a mummers brigade of over 100 members, he has been marching since he was 5 years old. Here are a few pics from the annual fundraiser. Check out my new hair, if you noticed, I cut it all off!! I needed a change, I am having a lot of fun with it.

Punkin Chunkin Pageant

Today I volunteered with registration for the 1st annual Punkin Chunkin pageant. Great job Ellie on your first Punkin Chunkin pageant. Overall, things were a sucess. It was a nice afternoon spent with some friends and what a cool experience today. we had VIP treatment at the festival, including a guided tour on a golf cart around the grounds. Look for us on the Discovery Channel!! Congrats to the winners!!
