The school year is winding down, thanks to the 2nd grade classes of Ms Parry & Ms Schultz for inviting me to your school. I could tell the students were very excited for summer vacation to arrive, they all told me about their plans for the summer today. Thanks to Jen for helping me out with the presentation today, you always do a great job with the nutritional segment!!
I am a Dental Hygienist with a fabulous career in a cosmetic practice. I work 3 days a week so I dedicate myself to my communities on my day off. I am very passionate and dedicated in everything I do. My husband Jim makes me proud every day serving our country as a leader in the USAF. Jim and I are both Ambassadors with the Travis Manion Foundation and I am a volunteer in the dental community and a director with the Purses Full of Hope Charity. In May 2107 I will compete for Mrs. New Jersey United States . I hope to bring home the title and take my community service on a national journey. As far as my blog title goes, it was inspired by one of my favorite books Grit. One of the best compliments I ever received was when the Author Angela Duckworth told me to stay gritty. It is truly grit that got Jim and I where we are today.
