Sealant Saturday
February 7th was the annual "Sealant Saturday" event hosted by the Philadelphia Dental Hygienists' Association. We had a great day today, it was a pleasure meeting the students at Community College of Philadelphia and helping them perform dental sealants with ease!! This was the 8th year for the annual event which provides over $10,000 in free dental services to uninsured children throughout Philadelphia. I love working with the children and mentoring the students at the same time. It is an EXTREMELY rewarding day, in more ways than one. A special thanks to CCP and to the parents of these children for caring enough to bring the children to this event. I look forward to next year!!
